  After a long weekend of skiing, our family was really in the mood for some BBQ. We did some research and decided to give this place a try. Immediately, we were greeted by the friendly host and co-owner. We requested a booth, and even though he said they typically reserve those for larger parties, he granted our request without a problem. The menu had lots of great choices and we opted for sliders, a half-rack of ribs and a combo plate with ribs and chicken. For sides, we picked the mac & cheese, sidewinder fries, beans and a baked potato. We loved the house-made El Dorado Gold sauce as a compliment to the meat. Everything was delicious!
  
  After we left, we realized my son left his new gloves behind and so we called and left a message. The next morning, we stopped by on our way out of town and the gloves were no where to be found. Disappointed, we left for the Sacramento airport to fly home. Within a few hours, the co-owner we met the night before called me saying they did indeed have the gloves. When he realized we couldn't come back for them, he graciously agreed to mail them to us.
  
  We will definitely visit Aces High next time we are in the South Lake Tahoe area!! Thanks for everything!!
