  The room is like home. I lived there with a 3 bedroom one, spacious and cozy. The location is also very good, close to Safeway and the lake of course. If you can get some discounted price for it, it is worthy that.

  Can be a bit crowded, but I've always found the food to be quite refreshing after a long day of skiing. The staff at heavenly is great.

  About as nice as a mid-mountain lodge can be expected to be. Decent food/drink selection, high prices.

  This is the biggest and best lodge to grab lunch if you're at Heavenly. It has higher ceilings thank the rest of the lodges and also more food options, including options for vegetarians. If you're on the California side, you'll unfortunate have to travel to the Nevada side and back for this lodge, which requires a long trek through some blue intermediate slopes, but it is worth the journey. If you arrive before 11:30am then you'll be able to find a table without any problem. Anytime during normal lunch hours then good luck.
